What's interesting about this email is that it has a calendar invitation on the bottom - clicking on it confirms your email address and presumably is designed to give the message an authentic twist.
Of course, there isn't $800,000 sitting around for you and you can guarantee that "Eze Ike" will try and bilk you out of some money along the way.

Why do all of these guys have Yahoo! addresses?
The reason that 419 scammers use web based email s that it makes it very hard to track back where the email came from, unless Yahoo,google,hotmail are happy to check there log files to see who sent the email.
The other reason for web based emails is that Nigeria (home of the 419) is a ery poor country with most of the population using internet cafes for accessing the net. This means that web based emails most portable.
